Andreas Baur leaves s.Oliver Group

Rottendorf, 31. 10. 2018

Andreas Baur, COO of the s.Oliver Group and responsible for the Global Sourcing, Global Logistics and Global IT departments, will leave the company at the end of the year at his own request.

Andreas Baur is leaving the company for personal reasons. "I am very grateful for my time with the s.Oliver Group. I had the opportunity of working with some great colleagues, and we moved a lot together. After my around ten years in the role of COO in various companies, I am now ready for a new challenge," he says.

Andreas Baur joined the company in May 2015 and has since then helped us to make considerable progress in the areas of digitalisation and supply chain management. Together with his teams, he has implemented important decisive strategies for the company's further development. We will also continue to drive ahead the measures he has implemented after he has left the company.

Bernd Freier, the owner and CEO of the s.Oliver Group, is grateful to Andreas Baur for his efforts: "Andreas was always extremely dedicated to what had to be done, and he did it well. He already informed us of his decision several weeks ago, which had nothing to do with Gernot Lenz leaving the company."

We regret his decision very much, would like to thank him for the excellent cooperation and wish him every success and all the best for his personal and professional future.

The s.Oliver Group was established by Bernd Freier in 1969. In only a few decades, it has grown into one of Europe's leading fashion companies. The Group employs around 6,600 people internationally. Besides the brands s.Oliver, s.Oliver BLACK LABEL, s.Oliver ACTIVE, Q/S designed by and TRIANGLE, the company's portfolio also includes comma, comma casual identity and LIEBESKIND Berlin.
