Volker Christ becomes Chief Financial Officer of the s.Oliver Group

The international fashion and lifestyle company s.Oliver Group, headquartered in Rottendorf/Germany, announces that Mr. Volker Christ (56) will join the Management Board on March 1, 2020 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this function, he will also be responsible for the Global IT.

„Volker Christ is a proven financial expert who brings with him a wealth of experience from various internationally active companies. We are very pleased that we were able to win him for our company“, says Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, CEO s.Oliver Group.

Most recently, Christ worked as CFO of Vibracoustic, one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers and company of the Freudenberg Group. He joined the group in 2004, from 2007 till 2012 agitating as CFO of the business group Home and Cleaning Solutions (Vileda). From 2012 till 2017 Volker Christ headed the group controlling and accounting of the Freudenberg Group. Christ started his career back in 1988 at Procter & Gamble, where he held various positions in finance and controlling at home and abroad for 15 years. He studied business administration at the University of Mannheim.

Volker Christ follows Mrs. Susanne Heckelsberger, who is leaving the s.Oliver Group at her own request at the end of the year
