Each s.Oliver Group trainee programme prepares you for your envisaged future position by means of different, interesting stages. Working in different departments, you will become part of each respective team and become involved in the department’s daily routines; you will manage your own projects independently and take on responsibilities. This gives you the chance to learn and experiment, and to put your newly acquired knowledge straight into practice. You cannot fail to learn!

During your one-year trainee programme you will be assigned to different departments for a period of one to three months; each assignment will bring you one step further to the goal of becoming a true all-rounder in your chosen field! Special training courses, customised to match your trainee programme, will help you in your personal and professional further development.

Trainee Program Design

Duration:

12 months

Particular skills:
  • Passion for fashion
  • Instinct for current styles and likely future trends
  • Awareness of different target groups and developments on the sales market
  • Openness and good communication skills
  • Friendly manner
Requirement:

Degree in design

Area(s) of employment:
  • Trend Management
  • Development of lifestyle worlds
  • Development of actual design concepts and their translation into mood boards and work sheets for later development
  • Involvement with at least two product groups
  • Trips to other cities and trade shows including the recording of information received and inspirations gained to allow these to be passed on to the team
Field(s) of application:

Work within a brand segment in the headquarter including contact to the interfaces, working in the stores, visit the agency in Istanbul

Target position:

Designer (m/f)

Trainee Program Graphic Design

Duration:

12 months

Particular skills:
  • Enthusiasm for fashion
  • Knowledge of contemporary style elements and future trends
  • A good eye for different target groups and developments on the market
  • Openness and ability to communicate
  • Friendly appearance
Requirement:

Degree in design

Area(s) of employment:
  • Trend management and transferring trend proposals to mood boards for prints and artworks for the collection items
  • Developing specific styling ideas including the implementation within collages of collections and work sheets for the subsequent processing
  • Working on at least two product groups
  • City trips and visiting fairs which includes processing information and inspirations and passing them on to the team

Graphic designer (m/f)

Trainee programmein Retail

TRAINEE PROGRAM RETAIL

Duration:

9 - 12 months

  • Merchandise presentation

TRAINEE PROGRAM RETAIL BUYUNG

Trainee programmein Logistics

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM)

Duration:

12 months

Particular skills:
  • Well-developed approach to analytical thinking
  • Communication skills and powers of persuasion
  • Passion for project management
  • God command of English
  • Good IT skills
Prerequisites:
  • Graduate in business studies, specialising in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Interest in business topics and initial practical understanding of the business environment
Area(s) of employment:
  • Develop understanding of the complete value creation chain of an international fashion business including core structures and processes in the areas of sourcing, putting together collections, design and sales, as well as gain insight into the business processes at international production locations
  • Participation in current topics of the respective SCM areas
  • Controlling and optimization of international supply chains
  • Processing of projects, e.g. Introduction of a new merchandise management system
Field(s) of application:

Headquarters in Rottendorf (approx. six months in the Logistics and Delivery Control Department and six months in the interface areas)

Target position:

Junior Consultant SCM (m/f)

SOURCING OPERATIONS

Duration:

12 months

Particular skills:
  • Well-developed approach to analytical thinking
  • Good understanding of business correlations
  • Communication skills and powers of persuasion
  • Good command of English
Prerequisites:
  • Degree in textile engineering
  • Ideally, first practical knowledge in international market analyses and procurement strategies
Area(s) of employment:
  • Understand the complete value creation chain of an international fashion business
  • Understand the core structures and processes in the areas of sourcing, collection, design, sales and business processes at the international production sites
  • Support projects and process optimizations, e.g. in the context of the introduction of a new merchandise management system
Field(s) of application:

Headquarters in Rottendorf (approx. six months in the Sourcing Operations Department and six months in the interface areas)
