Each s.Oliver Group trainee program prepares you for your envisaged future position by means of different, interesting stages. Working in different departments, you will become part of each respective team and become involved in the department’s daily routines; you will manage your own projects independently and take on responsibilities. This gives you the chance to learn and experiment, and to put your newly acquired knowledge straight into practice. You cannot fail to learn!

Well trainedfor new tasks

During your one-year trainee program you will be assigned to different departments for a period of one to three months; each assignment will bring you one step further to the goal of becoming a true all-rounder in your chosen field! Special training courses, customised to match your trainee program, will help you in your personal and professional further development.

HEADQUARTERS IN ROTTENDORF

Trainee Program Headquarters

Duration:

12 - 18 months

Particular skills:
  • Openness, communication skills, the ability to work in a team and a convincing demeanor
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and trends
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of the relevant IT and software programs
  • Good analytical skills and numerical reasoning
  • High level of initiative and willingness to learn

There are also additional required skills, depending on the particular focus of the trainee program.

Requirement:

Studies and/or practical experience in the fashion and textile industry or in a relevant field.

Area(s) of employment:
  • Stations in different areas relevant for an overall understanding of the activity and processes, partly also abroad (e.g. different design segments, purchasing and sourcing, sales, e-commerce, logistics, agencies, etc.).
  • Additional interface assignments in related areas or teams (e.g. assignment of several weeks in a retail store)
  • Training for professional and personal development
Target position:

RETAIL

TRAINEE PROGRAM RETAIL

Duration:

9 - 12 months

Particular skills:

  • Friendly and charming manner when dealing with others
  • A communicative and open attitude
  • A talent for selling and organisation
  • A good head for figures
Prerequisites:

Degree or vocational qualification plus some experience gained in relevant jobs

Area(s) of employment:
  • Managing a store oft he s.Oliver Group including stock management
  • Merchandise presentation
  • HR planning
  • anagement of sales activities
  • Supervision of a team
  • Advising customers, selling and much, much more.
Field(s) of application:

Various s.Oliver Group stores in Germany as well as some time spent at Headquarters

Target position:

Assistant Store Manager (m/f)

LOGISTICS

TRAINEE PROGRAM LOGISTICS

Duration:

12 months

Particular skills:
  • Well-developed approach to analytical thinking
  • Communication skills and powers of persuasion
  • Passion for project management
  • God command of English
  • Good IT skills
Prerequisites:
  • Graduate in business studies, specialising in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Interest in business topics and initial practical understanding of the business environment
Area(s) of employment:
  • Develop understanding of the complete value creation chain of an international fashion business including core structures and processes in the areas of sourcing, putting together collections, design and sales, as well as gain insight into the business processes at international production locations
  • Participation in current topics of the respective SCM areas
  • Controlling and optimization of international supply chains
  • Processing of projects, e.g. Introduction of a new merchandise management system
Field(s) of application:

Headquarters in Rottendorf (approx. six months in the Logistics and Delivery Control Department and six months in the interface areas)
