Looking back at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023

40 employees of the S.OLIVER GROUP were in the middle of the action as volunteers.

The Special Olympics World Games 2023 are over, the medals have been awarded. A total of 6,500 athletes competed in 26 disciplines, 18,000 volunteers were on duty, and 3,000 coaches and support staff were on site. And 40 employees of the S.OLIVER GROUP were right in the middle of it all to celebrate 25 years of partnership with the Special Olympics movement at this event.

They were on site as volunteers for five days each and accompanied the athletes in the swimming hall during their competition. At the edge of the pool, they were always ready when they were needed, cheering and cheering along.

I had respect for the task. I was all the more impressed by how warm everyone here is and what a great team spirit there is. Everyone approaches each other openly, supports each other and cheers each other on. I have met wonderful people here and taken them to my heart.
