From Purchase to Everyday Wear
We offer fashion for all situations in life. Accordingly, we pay particular attention to the quality and durability of our products. By performing ongoing inspections during development and regular spot checks before the finished product is delivered, we monitor, among other things, color fastness, fit, workmanship, and other quality characteristics. After purchase, the most important thing is to care for the product correctly.
Look at the care label to find out how to care for your product to ensure you can enjoy wearing it for a long time to come. You can find a detailed care guide in our download area.
Knowing the right temperature at which to wash garments isn’t only important for extending the lifespan of clothing, but can also save electricity. Therefore, it makes sense to avoid washing clothes when not necessary. Pure wool products in particular have self-cleaning properties thanks to their keratin fibers, which is why giving your garments a good airing can sometimes be enough, saving you having to wash them.
Furthermore, it is important to choose a suitable detergent and fabric softener. Do not use fabric softener on clothing with synthetic fibers or microfibers, as the fibers can stick together and the properties of the clothing may be damaged. This makes them less breathable and absorbent.
Very many materials are suitable for air-drying. This is kinder to the environment as well as our clothes.
But a word of caution: some products must always be dried in the dryer. These include down jackets, for example, as the down will otherwise dry into clumps.
It’s not only important to watch out for the temperature here, but also whether it’s actually necessary to iron the piece at all. For example, if the garments have been through the dryer, it’s often not necessary to iron them.
