Paper, Cardboard, Plastic – the Packaging

Scroll

Packaging is essential for the efficient transportation of our products and preventing damage in the process. However, packaging often ends up where it shouldn’t be: in the sea, rivers, in the countryside, or on the street. On top of that, resources are also required to produce packaging.

That’s why the use and handling of packaging is a key starting point in our sustainability program.

The Best Packaging Is No Packaging At All

Avoiding packaging altogether lies at the core of our packaging strategy. The reduction and avoidance of packaging saves resources and keeps waste out of the environment.

More Sustainable Alternatives

Wherever packaging is used, we utilise, amongst other things, FSC® Mix-certified and recycled materials. We only publish statements regarding recyclability where the scope of application is clearly defined and based on up-to-date evidence.

Close the Circle

In order to keep the packaging material in the material cycle for longer, we focus on the recyclability of our packaging. This means, for example, prohibiting coatings to ensure that cardboard can be recycled.
